Welcome

Hey 😃 My name is Ansh Arora. I am a senior majoring in Finance and Informatics at the Kelley School of Business. I am also a passionate tech enthusiast!

Some Insights Into My Life

  • 👨‍🏫 From an early age, I discovered a natural gift for guiding and teaching my younger siblings. This fascinating skill propelled me to embrace the role of Teaching Assistant in Accounting, Economics, and International Business. This intriguing journey has further sparked my curiosity and admiration for these fields.
  • 💻 At my University, I founded a student-led organization, Principles of Cybersecurity (PCS) At PCS, we create awareness about cybersecurity and risk management. In my tenure as President, we achieved the “Best New Student Organization of the Year” award and established partnerships with AT&T, Accenture, and EY to enhance our members’ recruitment prospects.
  • 💼 Recently, I interned at Amazon and Gallagher. During these internships, I discovered an incredible interest in Sales and Finance and built meaningful relationships with my colleagues and execs. These internships were a sneak peek into the corporate world and empowered me to find my passion and push beyond my comfort zone.

My Interests

  • 🎮 In my free time, I like to play Clash Royale and Clash of Clans with my friends and family; I also love swimming and collecting coins and stamps; my stamp collection has exceeded more than 2K stamps✨
  • 📱From the moment I held my very first computer back in third grade. A spark was ignited - a deep, enduring passion for Technology. This fascination has grown and stayed with me ever since.

Questions I Ask Myself?

Ever since a young age, I thought I could find my life’s mission by answering the age-old question, “What do I want to become?” The question has always fascinated me, as there is no single answer, so I divided the question into five short questions that allow me to stay fulfilled and grateful.

  • What are my current and long-term endeavors?
  • What sparks my interest or enthusiasm?
  • What knowledge or skill am I eager to acquire today?
  • What or who am I finding challenging to engage with at the moment?

My Favorite Quotes and Poems

“You have no enemies, you say?

Alas! my friend, the boast is poor;

He who has mingled in the fray

Of duty, that the brave endure,

Must have made foes! If you have none,

Small is the work that you have done.

You've hit no traitor on the hip,

You've dashed no cup from perjured lip,

You've never turned the wrong to right,

You've been a coward in the fight.” - Charles Makay

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” - Robert Frost

“Intuition is critical in virtually everything you do. But, without relentless preparation and execution, it is meaningless.” - Tim Cook
"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” - Steve Jobs
"When sorrows come, they come not single spies but in battalions.” - William Shakespeare
"To do nothing is often the best course of action. But history was not made by those who did nothing.” - The Crown
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But, most of the times we tie. All we can do is keep playing” - Ted Lasso
"The harder you work, the luckier you get.” - Gary Player
"Your dreams are the compass. Follow them, and you’ll never be lost.”
"If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.” - Thomas Jefferson
