Empowering Children and Disabled Individuals
I completed my capstone project through Serve IT, a non-profit clinic at the Luddy School of Informatics dedicated to integrating technology solutions into community services. This experience allowed me to make substantial contributions to both the Boys and Girls Club and Stone Belt teams. At the Boys and Girls Club, I focused on bridging the digital literacy gap among young people, developing programs that enhanced their ability to use digital tools effectively for educational and personal development.
For Stone Belt, I worked to tailor technology training sessions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, aiming to improve their digital autonomy and engagement. My efforts supported these organizations in empowering their communities through increased technological proficiency and independence.
